We have been actively conducting workshops since 2015, offering diverse educational and creative experiences. These workshops are often the result of invitations from schools and different organizations. Alternatively, we organize and promote these events directly from our studio, ensuring a regular schedule of engaging and informative sessions. For the latest updates and announcements on upcoming workshop dates, we encourage everyone to follow our Instagram page. Here, we regularly post information about new workshops, giving our followers the first chance to sign up and participate in these enriching experiences.

Nikolas Wrobel (Nikolas Type) runs, in our opinion, one of the most vibrant independent type foundries around. His typefaces are bold, sensitive, contemporary — and a pleasure to work with. We love having Nikolas around, so we invited him for a workshop, which he accepted and embraced with the best energy. It will be a typography workshop: for those who’ve never tried it, or for those who already do and want to explore a new approach. One that’s freer, without the rigidity the field sometimes carries. To play (with type) is to resist stasis.

TBD Brick keeps growing, piece by piece. As part of the learning program we’ve created, we’re offering a workshop where participants design type using the same methodology we use ourselves. We also introduce the graphic universe these pieces belong to — flexible systems, bold, functional, and experimental typefaces. To play (with type) is to resist stasis.

This workshop, ideal for beginners, will guide you through the basics of RISO printing, from preparing files to creating your own prints.
Over the course of 4 hours, we will provide context for the technique, present a wide collection of RISO-printed materials, teach you how to prepare files for printing, and help you print your own work. Each participant will take home 10 one-color prints, and we encourage overprinting your work and/or exchanging prints with other participants.
We’ve also prepared a small booklet for each participant, featuring samples of overprints we have collected over time.
