For Joana Guerra’s album “Cavalos Vapor,” where we meticulously crafted a design embodying elegance and depth. We selected a beautiful, textured ivory paper, enhancing the tactile experience of the album. The use of spot colours was essential in bringing out the richness and detail in the design elements.
The visual concept revolves around recontextualizing old photographs and illustrations by Helena Borges. These elements were thoughtfully integrated to give them new purpose and meaning within the delicate framework of Joana Guerra’s artistic vision. Combining old imagery and illustration creates a compelling dialogue between past and present, much like the music itself.
