For the album “Mudra” by Marco Franco, we embarked on a meticulous and hands-on design project that emphasized tactile quality and intricate craftsmanship. We chose a highly textured paper to give the album a distinctive feel, enhancing the sensory experience. The covers were laser-cut by us, to create windows, offering a glimpse of the inner sleeves, adding depth and intrigue to the design.
Each cover was carefully assembled by hand, showcasing our commitment to the DIY ethos. This labor-intensive process ensured that every album was unique and meticulously crafted. The inner sleeve features a photograph by Vera Marmelo. This combination of tactile materials, laser-cut precision, and handcrafted assembly resulted in an album that reflects the intimate and thoughtful nature of Marco Franco’s music, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for the listener. The effort put into each detail of “Mudra” exemplifies our dedication to creating visually and physically engaging products that resonate on multiple levels.
