For the HOHL project, we began with typography as the conceptual and visual foundation. Our aim was to develop a modular system that subtly references the world of carpentry through precise forms, rhythmic repetition, and structures that evoke manual labor, interlocking parts, and the act of building. This modular principle guides the graphic composition and establishes a visual language rooted in the logic of assembly and adaptability.
The color palette is deliberately neutral, serving as a quiet backdrop that supports the photographic content and the materiality of the graphic elements. This restrained chromatic approach allows the visual content to breathe and places emphasis on the constructive details of the typographic system and the imagery.
