The project developed for Yuzin —one of the most vibrant and relevant cultural agendas today — extends the collaborative work we’ve been building over the past few years with this team. This long-standing relationship has allowed us to establish strong collaborative routines, creating a foundation of trust and creative fluency that enables us to push further with each new edition, exploring more deeply and with greater freedom.
In this most recent cycle, we expanded our visual and editorial research, with a special focus on cartography as a tool for cultural expression and orientation. Here, cartography is not simply a literal mapping device, is a means of revealing connections, trajectories, within the city. It became the central axis of the visual language adopted, allowing us to align Yuzin’s programmatic content with a visual representation that evokes movement, layering, and rhythm, enhancing the reading experience and the way information is navigated.
The graphic approach followed, as always in this project, an experimental logic that values detail, legibility, and visual surprise. With each edition, we seek to build a sense of aesthetic continuity while leaving room for reinterpretation, keeping Yuzin’s identity alive, adaptable, and responsive to the times it inhabits.
